The Corner Store Open Mic 

Every 1st Saturday of the month join us.

The mic is open to all: Spoken Word Poets, Singers, Comedians, Rappers, Magicians, Belly Dancers, Spiritual Dancers, Ventriloquists, Hypnotists, Activist. No one will be turned away from the chance to express themselves. Come witness a NEW level of Open Mic experience with food, beverages, tattoos, and so much more! 

The Comedy Corner Open Mic

Every 2nd Saturday of the month come prepared to laugh! 

The mic is open to anyone with a funny bone. Local comedian Lox will be your host, along with DJ JMac on the keys with his unique blend of comedy and music. This event to showcase Oahu's premier comedians as well as anybody who has a funny story to tell. 

The Corner Store Jams + Open Mic

The Poetry Bodega is partnering with Oahu’s premiere plant-based chefs at Fresh Over Flesh to present a luxury dining and entertainment experience. Join us every 3rd Saturday of the month. 

"The Corner Store Jams" is a night to vibe with Music and Poetry. Check out The Bodega Poets plus your favorite local poets jamming with local bands and Oahu’s best singers with a three-course candle-lit dinner served alongside house-made whole leaf teas.

The Corner Store Slam + Open Mic

The 4th Saturday of the month is your chance to put your money where your word is! Join The Poetry Bodega and your favorite artists for a winner-takes-all slam that always comes down to the wire! Slam themes and formats change every month, and they’re always open to all artists: poets, singers, comedians, motivational speakers. Just bring your A game to bring home the prize money pot!

 In.Da.Pen.Dance writing Workshop

Every Sunday at Ong Kings Arts Center.

Hosted by Darron Cambra and a rotation of poets from The Poetry Bodega. The writing workshop is focused on the art of free writing and is geared toward helping writers of all skill levels and genres get their pens dancing and overcome writer's block. Participation is necessary, and sharing is not. Donations are graciously accepted.
